A look at what our guests have to say!Fishing galore! Family friendly! No stress no fuss!
Going to a camp means many things- rustic, fresh air, campfires, log cabins, camp based foods, screen doors that swing, water lapping the dock’s edge, sunsets, outdoor excursions on a lake(s) that welcome you to millions of schools of prize winning northern pike plus walleye. This camp has all the ingredients for a lake get away!

We are returning in August for our fifth stay at Angler’s. We did a lot of research before our first trip, and this camp had the perfect balance between price, amenities, and fishing quality. Yes, it’s a rustic camp, and the older cabins reflect that (the new cabin accommodating large groups is beautiful). We had hot showers every day- last year after the fire we just had to let them know ahead of time so they could run the pump.
Here’s what’s important to us:
The boats- nicely outfitted with radio and fish finders, maintained daily. Every time we went out or came back in, the staff was at the dock to see if we needed anything.
The fishing- world class for pike and walleye. I caught a 46″ northern our first year, still chasing that +30″ walleye but every trip someone else in camp has caught one.
The food- ample, varied, accommodating of special requests. My husband does not eat fish (!); they make him something else on fish fry days.
The staff- everyone is attentive and helpful. Hayden has really stepped up to take care of the boats and other equipment. Kevin is always willing to mark up the maps to put you on good fish. Debra checks in multiple times during the week to make sure we have what we need. Belinda cooks something special for dessert every day and makes sure we never go hungry!
Can’t wait to return this year!

I have been going back to Anglers Kingdom for 13 years lately it’s been 2 times a year, spring and fall. This is what’s it’s advertised as, a fishing camp! If you want a 4/5 star resort find somewhere else to go to.
You get 3 meals a day that are camp oriented or you can fix your own meals. If you want fruit cups or spec. sugar tops bring your own. We get eggs, toast, bacon or sausage and pancakes every morning.
BUT if you want a bed, a boat and fish this is where you want to come to. Many many 20″+ walleyes- one group while I was there in June caught a 32″ walleye! Also a 40″+ northern. Just remember it’s a “fishing camp not a fishing resort”.
I’ll be up again in 10 weeks to continue to chase that elusive 30″ plus walleye and 44″+ northern ( I already got the 43″) Hope to see you up there soon. Been fishing for 40+ years on Canada. This is by far the best lake and I wouldn’t fish out of any other camp
I have been to Anglers Kingdom twice now and would go back again. This is not a 5 star resort or lodge. Its a fishing camp. I think some peoples expectations for a wilderness camp are not reasonable. The rooms are clean, the boats work well and Belinda makes sure everyone gets lots to eat. I drove for 2 0hrs each way for the fishing and caught more fish than I have ever caught before. We actually quit fishing one day around 3pm as we caught over 100 walleye between the 2 of us and just wanted to go in and have a beer. LOL!!
In all my years fishing and it has been many, from Alaska down to Illinois, I have never found a better place to fish! Kevin, and his staff have always treated us as family. His cabins are clean and neat, with indoor toilets I might add. (Very important to this camper!) his equipment is a mix between old and new but always in good repair. The food is good and plentiful. And the walleye and northern fishing is unbelievable! I have never found better! I know he had problems with forest fires the last few years which can wipe out your camp and business and can only think this was part of the bad reviews problem. My only regret was due to failing health I wasn’t able to get there recently. If you want to try some unbelievable fishing that you’ll be bragging about for years to come, check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!
We have been to Anglers Kingdom twice and both times were wonderful. The drive is 3 days from our home in southern Ontario and we would not have gone a second time if we weren’t extremely happy.
The fishing was fantastic, the food was great and the staff were wonderful. Boats and motors were outstanding.

The opportunity to catch and release large pike and walleye, the best boats on the lake, a very helpful staff and a knowledgeable owner all make Anglers Kingdom an incredible fishing camp
I have been going to this camp for several years. Kevin and his family always make us feel at home, even after not seeing us for an entire year, every June they remember our names. As far as the fishing goes, it’s by far the best Walleye fishery I have fished. Sure the camp has had set backs over the years, like every other fish camp. This year it was easy to notice how hard they have been working to get things back the way they should after they lost part of the camp. They have a wide selection of boats and just added new boat motors that are top of the line. If you want a great place to make lasting memories, give Anglers Kingdom a try.
